TRAFFIC BANS
On certain days of the year, transit on the motorway is prohibited for goods vehicles with a total authorised mass exceeding 7.5 tonnes, even when empty.

OVERTAKING BANS – AFFECTED SECTIONS
To prevent hazardous situations caused by frequent overtaking manoeuvres among heavy vehicles — which can lead to sudden slowdowns, affecting both traffic safety and flow — an overtaking ban is in force on the two-lane sections of the A4 Venice–Trieste motorway and the A57 Mestre Bypass from 06:00 to 21:00. The restriction applies to vehicles with a maximum authorised mass exceeding 12 tonnes and to so-called “trains” consisting of motor vehicles towing caravans or trailers.
